The Federalist bottles
CALIFORNIA – UNITED STATES

The Federalist

The Federalist is a Californian wine brand from the Terlato Wine Group. The range includes Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, in a style built around ripe fruit, full flavour and an approachable structure. Many of the wines come from Lodi, an important wine region in California. Its Mediterranean climate combines warm, dry summers with cooling air from the Sacramento–San Joaquin Delta. The warmth helps the grapes ripen, while the cooling Delta Breeze helps preserve their freshness. According to the current producer's fact sheet, the Pinot Noir comes from the Central Coast. In the cellar, different vineyard plots are fermented separately, so that each keeps its own character and the winemaker can blend with precision. Oak ageing plays an important role: the Cabernet Sauvignon is aged for 15 months in oak, 35% of it new. For the Chardonnay, malolactic fermentation and ageing on the fine lees give a creamy texture.

Domaine George bottles
BURGUNDY – FRANCE

Domaine George

Domaine George is located in Courgis, a small, picturesque village in the heart of the Chablis region. The estate's history goes back to the 1940s. At that time, the grapes were not yet vinified under the family's own name but sold to the local cooperative. In 1997, Michel George took the step of continuing as an independent winegrower. Today his sons, David and Jonathan, who trained as winemakers in Beaune, carry on the tradition at the family estate. The vineyards (17 ha) lie exclusively on steep, privileged slopes. The estate's vines grow on the renowned Kimmeridgian soils, made up of limestone, clay and marine fossils: remnants from millions of years ago, when this area was still a seabed. The grapes for the village Chablis come from two different climats, “Talvat” and “Côte de Jouan”.

BURGUNDY – FRANCE

Domaine Christelle Greffet

Domaine Christelle Greffet is a renowned French wine estate located on the heights of Solutré-Pouilly, in the heart of the prestigious Pouilly-Fuissé appellation in Burgundy. It covers a total of 10 hectares of vineyards, with vines growing on limestone and clay soils around the iconic Roche de Solutré. Christelle Greffet produces only dry, high-quality white wines made from Chardonnay. Production is divided across three well-known regional appellations: Pouilly-Fuissé, Saint-Véran and Mâcon-Solutré-Pouilly. The estate is certified as an Exploitation de Haute Valeur Environnementale (HVE), guaranteeing a sustainable and respectful approach to winegrowing.

Champagne Bollinger bottles
CHAMPAGNE – FRANCE

Champagne Bollinger

Bollinger is one of the most prestigious and characterful Champagne houses, founded in 1829 in Aÿ. The house is known for its distinctive Pinot Noir-driven style and combines tradition, craftsmanship and long ageing. Bollinger stands out for its partial vinification in old oak barrels, an exceptional stock of reserve wines, part of which is kept in magnums under cork, and ageing well beyond the legal minimum. This results in Champagnes with power, vinosity and complexity, marked by ripe fruit, brioche, toast and delicate spicy and nutty notes. Bollinger in one sentence: an iconic Champagne house for lovers of a rich, powerful and gastronomic style, with Pinot Noir as its signature.

Tenuta Agricola Pesolillo bottles
ABRUZZO – ITALY

Tenuta Agricola Pesolillo

Tenuta Agricola Pesolillo is a small, authentic estate with a strong family character. It has been that way ever since grandfather Domenico and grandmother Carmela bought their first plot of land on Monte Rotondo, a hill 2 km from the coastline. The soil was once the seabed, which gives it an enormous mineral richness and lends the wines a refined, lively character. Entirely in keeping with their philosophy of minimal intervention and climate-neutral production, all the vineyards have been farmed fully organically since 2015.

Del Grillo bottles
SICILY – ITALY

Del Grillo

The Del Grillo estate is a true family business located in the province of Trapani, in Sicily. For three generations, only organic farming has been practised here, with most of the land devoted to winegrowing. Another significant part is planted with olive groves, another with orchards, and a small plot is used to grow durum wheat. The various indigenous grape varieties are vinified individually with minimal intervention, allowing each grape to shine to the fullest.

Vazisubani Estate bottles
KAKHETI – GEORGIA

Vazisubani Estate

Vazisubani Estate, located in the heart of Kakheti, was founded in 1891 by wine pioneer Sulkan Chavchavadze. Following a thorough restoration in 2013, it has once again become one of Georgia's most prestigious wine houses. Here, 8,000 years of winemaking tradition are combined with modern techniques under the guidance of top winemaker Lado Uzunashvili. Indigenous grape varieties such as Saperavi, Rkatsiteli, Kisi and Mtsvane produce wines of unique character and exceptional quality.

Royal Khvanchkara bottles
RACHA-LECHKHUMI – GEORGIA

Royal Khvanchkara

The vineyards of Royal Khvanchkara lie in the Racha region, in the foothills of the majestic Caucasus mountains, at an altitude of 780 to 800 m on the banks of the Rioni river. Wines are made here from local grape varieties such as Aleksandrouli and Tsolikouri. The high altitude ensures wines that come across as elegant and lively. The vineyards here also receive more hours of sunshine than in Kakheti, so the wines are not only somewhat lighter but often a little sweeter too. David Iselidze is a young, passionate winemaker who has learned, and is still learning, his craft here from none other than Lado Uzunashvili. This renowned winemaker ranks among the very best in Georgia and is the 11th generation in a family of winegrowers and oenologists. His advice and contribution make Royal Khvanchkara an essential reference for this appellation, which is also known worldwide for its semi-sweet wines. As early as 1907, a wine from this estate won a grand prize in Ostend, earning it international recognition and appreciation. Unfortunately, more than a century of Russian occupation kept these gems away from our Western markets for decades.

Georgian Sun bottles
KAKHETI – GEORGIA

Georgian Sun

Georgian Sun is produced at the renowned Vazisubani Estate by internationally acclaimed winemaker Lado Uzunashvili. Respecting age-old Georgian traditions while taking a modern European approach, he creates approachable, characterful wines from indigenous grapes from Kakheti.
